Hi Folks,

I thought I would ask on here in the forum as everyone is from far and beyond.

I have been doing my family tree for a few years and stuck.

Anyone here live in Manchester?  OR KENT, that would mind going to the local library or Archive centre to look up names for me?

I know its a long shot, but worth a try :)

Hi Springbokgirlie,

I too am into family history.  If you don't find anyone who can help on here, there is a forum similar to this called 'Rootschat' where the members are very helpful and you will often find someone who is going to look up something for themselves and will have a look for you.  And people who are very knowledgeable about the different areas, or who enjoy the challenge of trying to solve someone's brick wall.  I think it is well worth a try if you are stuck.  I don't have anyone in either place so can't be any help to you, sorry.

I will try that.  I have drained all my online research resources and have hit a brick wall :)
