Our tennis club was broken into and TV (wide screen) stolen also all the spirit behind the bar and the money in the safe and till.  Apparently this is not the first club that has been broken into in north London.  Because some of the Committee were on holiday security wasn't that good, and I suppose it was an easy target.  They must have had a van to take all the drink and TV away.  The burglar alarm was wasn't switched on that night as normal, so probably not insured.  We normally take people on trust and security has now been tightened up, just a warning if anyone belongs to a club as I think they are easy targets.

I think our clubhouse is reasonably safe from the thieving scrotes.
