Fig and coffee break

Just run in from the lottie... as a torrential thunderstorm has started... so it's sit down with a cup of coffee and the fresh figs I've just picked..  :)

Well, the fig was lovely. GQT is on the radio and the sun has come out again..  ::)

  saddad,   I have a couple of figs on a young tree that are ripening well,

  they are brown and soft but at the base and stalk they are still a bit green.

  Do I wait for the whole fruit to brown before picking ?

No they should be fine today... on mine the stalk never goes brown... it never gets chance, but I don't think it would if I left them...  :-\
