Just had the first one from the plot today. Still amazes me how good home-grown corn is!

And black pepper!  I can't wait for mine, which still have a few weeks to go yet.
It amazes me that the seeds I sowed during the first week of June are now plants well over six feet high with the cobs getting bigger by the day!

My OH would never eat sweetcorn 'til I got him to try home grown he's now convinced :)We have to share with our koi who love it as well as the peas we grow. :)

No we cook both peas and corn and they go absolutely crazy  :o
