Had a look at my lovely peppers in the front garden this morning and something has dug holes in the pots they are growing in.  Not a very big hole but big enough to disturb the roots of the pepper and it doesn't look too good now.  Also another hole in my pot with a herb in it.  Hope its not rats, anyone got any ideas.  Do mice like peppers???

Do you mean squirrels they are such pretty creatures?

Pretty annoying, pretty devastating, pretty destructive.  Eating my courgettes.  Just get a line of teeth marks along the top.  There are plenty of fruit but they don't seem to be able to finish one before they got onto the next.

The thing is we live in a built up area, on a busy road, did notice that the Council grass area in front of my house and some deep holes dug in it, not by the Council.  Haven't seen any squirrels around here, but have seen foxes but they would be too big to dig in flower pots.  We have loads of pigeons, that I must admit I have been feeding.

@Digeroo
I have a pear tree in the garden and the d**n tree rats pull a pear, take two mouthfulls, throw it away and then take another and repeat.  Good jobs I don't care for pears that much!
