anyone reccomend somewhere to help me plan the layout

I only got my lottie in MArch. But I got a book called the allotment specialist. Its got a great crop alayout  and rotation plan and loads of other tips ideas and growing recommendations, it was only about a fiver.

Hello! I totally understand your need to draw up a plan. When you first get your allotment it's so exciting that if you are at the wrong point in the season you just want to feel like you are doing something to do with it! I felt the same when I got my allotment in March. However... I never actually stuck to my plan (drawn with paper and pencil and lots of rubbing out...!) because as a previous post suggests its better to dig a bed and plant it straight away with whatever is due to be sown then did another and plant that one with whatever is due next... What might be more useful and actually get used would be to decide what you want to plant, write a list including varieties and then with one month per page write down what can be sown when, that way every month you know what is ready to go in and if you find a spare bit of room after digging up a crop you can pop something else in.
