I was tied up all day yesterday, but we had a massive thunderstorm. When I got to the site this afternoon, I found the flooding was the worst in at least a decade; I've never seen it so bad. Plots that are normally unaffected are under water.

Mr Smith

Over here in LE13 I don't know how we have missed these thunder storms I'm just glad that the lotty is on a slight slope, :)

I hope the damage isn't too severe robert, and that the veggies can be rescued

My plot isn't badly damaged, as it runs off fast. I find winter wet does far more harm. It's the plot where it pools that a lot of harm is done. Mine was like that at one time, before I started shifting soil about. One guy told me this morning that he's giving up unless they can find him a small plot that doesn't flood. His current plot is in a hollow beside the stream which becomes a lake every time.

R/B  I can't believe you had so much rain.   I am on a site 3-4 miles away from you in Kings Norton and we are desperate for it to rain.  Best of luck with the damage.  Let us know how you get on.

Shows how local thunderstorms are! I bet you heard it.
