When should the brassica bed be limed. The brassicas are going in after the potatoes but will have to be done gradually as we eat the potatoes. Does it have to be limed?

I don,t bother liming till my garden gets turned over at the begining of the year but we all do some things different.
When my spuds come out i only put enough in (Leeks, Cabbages) to se me through till the next growing season taking up minimum ground. I then turn it over and rest the soil.
When you wake up on a morning say "good morning world" and be grateful

Just bung a bit in the holes you are putting the brassicas into, assuming you are doing transplants...  :)

It was manured in the Spring Saddad, does that make any difference.
