I don't take many photos of my garden at home, but the roses look so lovely this time of year I thought I would share the sight with you!

Madame Hardy...

Ferdinand Pritchard..

Evelyn..

Buff Beauty...

Rambler 'Goldfinch' over the arch...

The same shot from the other side of the arch...

Front garden.....

Philadelphus grown from seed, supposedly 'wild' variety that is the most highly scented....

Lovely cranesbill geranium..

Simple but lovely dahlia.... ;D

If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

I've only photographed the neat bits............ ;D I spend too much time down the lottie these days... ;D

When we moved in there the back garden was just a lawn......I do like a blank canvas! We had very little money so I grew everything from seed at first to fill it, lots from Chiltern seeds which is where I got the wild philadelphus seeds from. The roses came as and when I could afford them! ;D The goldfinch rambler is my favourite fragrance, overpowering in the evening. ;D

Lovely roses Deb, don't they just make such a statement in the garden "I'm here!", "Hey over here, look at me!"   :)
