Structure for Trailing Squashes

Hi -
Want to plant out my smaller winter squashes (baby blue hubbard & Uchi Kuri) and wanted to grow them upwards, I have some sturdy hazel poles and the odd bit of trellising. Does anyone have any advice about how to do this and what distance apart the plants should be - assuming I can grow more than one up whatever climbing frame I put together.

I have two SharksFin growing up an early learning centre swing frame... it won't be big enough!! We also have a cover less Polytunnel that we are growing some up...  :-X

Only advise I can give is make it sturdy.  Very! The varities you have are smallish but a full plant or two in full fruit will still need a good struture to support them.

My Uchi Kuri is already huge.  If it is supposed to be small someone forgot to tell it.

Each of my three plants have grown a metre in two days... :o I might need to abandon the plan to trail them over trellis & run them over the roof of the shed instead.   ::)
