Is this blight or just rain damage. A few plot holders on our site have the same. Only seems to be troubling the earlies. Should I use Dithane today or not
When I get old I don't want people thinking
"What a sweet little old lady"........
                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"

shilton - I dont think it's blight - looks more like nutrients or physical damage to me.  There are no blight warnings out yet so I'd be surprised.  I have similar on a tom I left outside but I woud watch v carefully just in case..
Anyone else - I dont want to be responsible!!!!
Moved to Portugal - ain't going back!

That looks like magnesium deficiency.

I'd say that about 10 plots had it this morning, but only on earlies

Thankyou so much for your input. When we got to the plot this morning another plot holder namely "Mick" was scouring the other plots to see how many had got the symptoms. He said"The only 2 things I care about are me potatoes and me cabbage" I assured him that I would get him some info on the problem. I gave him the A4A forum name, Just hope he's looked in otherwise he will go demented thinking that it's the dreaded blight

I lost every single tomato last year so I am a bit neurotic about it as well.  I had lots of lovely plants in about six varieties some 'guaranteed' blight resistant and I more of less stood in the garden and watched the plants dieing one ny one.

I still think some of the damage at the moment is due to cold wind on the leaves.  Because here the rest of the plants look quite healthy.

TeeGee has replied to my pm  and he said that they have been in 12 weeks and are now dying back which is ok for earlies. Stress over Thanks to TeeGee. All your comments were very welcome.

That's not blight, my Mimi have similar spots, I put it down to die back and a bit of a magnesium shortage.
