Hello everyone, it's me back again, which means I have another question  ;D
I bought a Chilli pepper plant yesterday. The instructions say grow in grow bags or containers.
I would like to grow it in a container, so my question is, what size container? At the moment it is in about a 9" pot.
Would it do best in the greenhouse, with the tomatoes, on the patio or on the window cill?
Thanks in advance for your replies.

Last year quite a few of my chillies were in 9" pots and they gave plenty of fruit.

A 12" pot will be even better, but check the roots in the pot you already have.

Greenhouse or windowsill are good - but mine also go outside on both the patio and into the ground. If the summer really does heat up, then all situations will prosper!

Feeding once a week/10 days is a good idea as well, 'specially if still in a pot...
What if the hokey cokey is what it's all about?

Delboy what would you feed them with?

I use Tomato feed... high potash for fruit/flowers  :)

Thanks everyone.
Hubby has decided he is going to put it in the ground in the greenhouse, so watch this space  ;D

A dash of Epsom salts every now and again won't go amiss, like all peppers they're a bit hungry for magnesium.... you can get pepper food..... I'd say a 9" pot should be plenty unless you've got a lot of space for it.... at least in the smaller pot you'll be able to takeit in as a house plant at the end of the year to keep producing (peppers are perrennials)

A quarter to a half teaspoon in a gallon of water once a week, or if you see signs of the leaves yellowing.... I use pepper food these days, and don't think about it much.... Epsom salts are a faff IMHO....
OTher things like a bit of magnesium too.... tomatos certainly benefit so if there isn't any in your tomato food then I'd use a bit.....
