Squashed fence...again!

i arrived at my plot last Friday to find a 6 ft deep hole 3 ft in front of my allotment gate, bit worrying when you realise they're busy extending the cemetery next to our site :o. Fortunately it's actually an extention of the water supply and there's a blue pipe sticking out of the hole!

Yeah! ;D I'm finally getting a water supply i don't have to walk to but I wasn't quite expecting it so close!

The bad news is that yesterday I arrived and found a tonne of soil sitting on my fence...Deja vu! Last August they dumped tonnes of manure there. I had just fixed my fence, new posts etc from that the week before last.

The while I was there today the man with the digger was making the new carpark and used his digger to remove the soil off my fence...not going to survive that i thought.....but the other guy said sorry we didn't realise we'd put it on the fence and proceeded to try to straighten it out...but i missed the bit where they tried to push the fence post back in using the digger. Fortunately so far my globe artichokes, right next to the fence have survived the ordeal.  Looking forward to when I'm not the front plot any more!
