sweet pepper or sweet chillies ..too late?

AmI too late to sow/grow sweet peppers and/or chillis under glass. I have heard peppers quite difficult and chillis easier but not sure which to go for and if there's still time??

We want something mild for salads and casseroles...if we can stuff it too...it's an extra!!!

Hi Hector - I know you're round my way somewhere. I have several chili plants going spare if you're interested. Some are quite unusual, but they're all new to me so I can't say any more. If you're interested i'll make a list of what i've got

Also one *may* be a pepper - I got it in a swap, but couldn't find any info on the name on the net
