Broad Beans & rust

Hi
Some of my broad bean plants have some signs of what I'd describe as rust. Can I compost these ok, or would I be better burning them or putting them in the bin at home / green waste?

Unless they're completely covered in it, leave them. Any chance of a pic? There's a disease called chocolate spot which affects broadies, and could be mistaken for rust. I've had it several times on Aquaculce Claudia, but it's always produced a crop anyway.

Thanks Robert, I'll try and find / get a pic. They are still cropping nicely so I'm not too bothered at the mo. Its just how I dispose of the diseased plants when they've finished. As I say I'll try and get a pic

Either way its saying to destroy the plants at the end of the season. I think I've planted mine too closely together, so the old air flow thingy isn't up to much. Oh well great crop so far, and learn another lesson  :D
