Re T&Ms half price seed sale.

Am I being thick? I placed an order in the T&M sale for £10+ worth of seeds & clicked on the fucshia as I had spent £10+. went to the bottom of the page & just charged for seeds & P&P. Fine but when I got the order confirmation there was an added charge £2.49 for the fucshia. I got in touch with them & they say there isn't a free offer on the fucshia & don't know what I am talking about. BTW it's not the £2.49 it's the principle.

Very odd I just tested it out and tried an 'order' of £13 worth of stuff and added the 'free' Fuchsia and yes it increased the price by £2-49.

It clearly says a free fuchsia if you spend over £10....refer to trading standards...Print the page!

Im really disapointed in T&m this year, after using my £5 voucher to place a seed order in march . The cashed my cheque and ever since have denied that i ever sent an order, then they said they had sent it to someone else at my request no! and then they sent me some parsnips and carrots and isnsited that this was my order and it was now fulfilled ( i ordered red rudbekia , black pak choi and goldern hops).

Its now june and still no sign on my seeds which frankly would be useless , or my refund.

grrr.

thing is isaid that last time after a smular incident and then i was tempted back in by the voucher . note to self theres no such thing as a free lunch.

Don't like T & M seeds.   Never had as good results with them as Suttons, Mr Fovergill etc..  so stop using them 4-5 years ago.

The seeds came in double quick time, most unusual for T&M. Unfortunately most of what I wanted to order was out of stock. Grrrrr.

Much of what I wanted was out of stock, but a few days later these were back on. so I ordered them  They sent me a letter saying some of the things were out of stock and I would receive a credit.  To date 94p has come back so I will be interested in what they have sent.

I think the difference in cost of the fushias is the postage charge.  For seeds only it is 1.99 as soon as you ordered the free fushsia you get the increased p&p charge. 

I have to agree their quality is not as good as it used to be.  I planted two rows of kale last year one T&M and one from Heritage seed libary.  They were a few inches apart.  The slugs hoovered off T&Ms offering completely and left the other untouched.

Second lot of seeds have appeared including many things which were out of stock on my first viisit to the site. 

Presume their end of financial year sales targets had not been met and so they released some of the next years stock.

Personally I have never forgiven them for dropping Carrot Juwarot.  Slugs did not seem to like much but I did. The only place I can find it charges huge amount for P&P and there is nothing else in their catalogue I fancy.
