Slip Ups

There was a post a few days ago about sweet potatoes.  Manicscousers quoted Bob Flowerdew about giving them a scrub to remove sprouting suppressants.

Well I went straight into the kitchen and scrubbed and scrubbed and rinsed and rinsed and wow only a few days later I have tiny roots and little lumps on my potatoes.  Great.  Thanks for the tip.

But what worries me is that the one I did previously and got nothing at all was an organic one.  So just how organic is organic if it is strayed with something to inhibit strouting.?  ??? ??? :-\

I bought organic in February & left them to sprout. I have the grand total of 1 slip. We shall see what that brings.
