I use forecastfox as an add on to firefox.
Its says that here in Leicester it will be rainy and 6 degrees.
I find that they are very good normally plus it updated the present weather about every 10 minutes. (or of course you can look out of the window.)
We have the old water pipe hoops over our raised beds so if it changes I'll put fleece on mid afternoon.
Global warming may have been overstated.
If you haven't got green fingers then use your fists.

I'm with Zig-Zag Micro climate has a lot to do with it, and many plants will survive an hour or two at zero...  :-X

Trouble is, when you have spent so much love and time raising plants then you daren't take the risk. I've covered all my tender stuff, beans, courgettes, tomatoes, usimg fleece, bubble wrap, old compost bags......and stapled old sheets over the flower pouches on the fence - that should guarantee that temperatures stay high here in the east midlands!
