potatoes flowering early

my maincrop potatoes seem to be flowering to early the plants are not very big at all and i've had a dig around them and there doesn't seem to be any potatoes there, is there any reason why they would be flowering this early.

My main crop Desiree are in full flower and my Cara are just showing signs of buds. Not sure if I have any tatoes either as I haven't looked.

No problem with the flowers Staris, don't firkle yet on maincrop, they are ready when stalks have withered and died off.   ;D ;D ;D
