might be a silly question but i dug up some stray ones from last year and from two plants got over 5lb of spuds and they are delicious but the plants never flowered

Apparently not. My Swift earlies didn't that I started harvesting today.

well flighty that is partly why i asked the question the first earlies i put in (cant remember the type) look to be dying back as if they are ready but have not even had the first sign of a flower, how did you know yours were ready?

Flighty

Debs I kept a note of when I put them in and waited ten weeks! I was also told that they don't flower and that when they started to die back they'd be ready. Sure enough that's what happened.

                             I want em saying
"Oh Crap! Whats she up to now ?"
