The View From My Plot

My Plot is overlooking the River Medway ( check the picture and you can see the boats) and  like many others alongside a railway line.

Two Saturday's ago I was on my plot and the nearby Isle of Sheppy had an air display, right over my plot came the Battle of Britain Flight my son and i were speechless . Then a few Min's later the lone Spitfire  came back over from the other direction banked round as if to say "Look at this boys" and set off back towards Sheppy. Jaw droopingly special!

This Saturday about the same time I hear a diesel loco trundling along the track
(normally the trains along the Victoria/Medway line are electrics) turns out not to be the usual diesels goods wagons but the Orient Express!

Two gloriously evocative sights whilst doing the thing i like best.
