Green climbing beans

I planted my beans outside just over a week ago and the leaves have started turning brown, is this normal. i'm growing them in a raised bed filled with green compost from the local council? ???

 I agree we have had some sever winds in the south west of late aswell im lucky havent put mine in yet went through through this last year lost the first sowing if there that bad sow some fore loads of time for runners
i have 16 plants (Enorma) in 3" pots and a further 16 plants just poking there jeads up now (Calaforian climming beans) white will get them in the ground a different times as i dont want all the beans to come together

Ideally the beans should not be out till the end of may.It just too cold for them. :)

When you look at the weather forecast always check the low temp as well as the high. :)

i sow mine outdoors in situ now!

my neighbour last year lost his massive hothouse grown plants with a late frost and i planted my seeds when he put the second lot in - they were six inches tall - my seeds got thru straight away and were at leat a foot talller than them by mid june

just  lucky i guess but it works
