Sometimes I just think it would be better to let the seeds/plants get on with it.  Put the seeds out of the mini greenhouse, then back in, went up the allotment and not a lot had changed since yesterday, did some watering and talked to a few seeds that were not coming up.  Busy day tomorrow and Wednesday, so may well get withdrawal symptons, but perhaps by Thursday, if we get some rain, might see seeds moving a bit.  Why are all the plants on the un cultivated allotment next to mine doing well, perhaps they like to grow in the undergrowth and not be interrupted by people prodding them about, to see if they are OK.  Well off on holidays at end of May and when I get back expect to see all my seeds thriving as sometimes they are quite OK on their own, even if it doesn't rain. I expect I will miss them and the allotment like mad.

I share the sentiment Borlotti!

I guess that Mother Nature's will means that things either happen or they don't!
All we do is make it easier or harder for nature to take its course!

The plants and seedlings may not grow much in a week but I bet if you left it that long the weeds would make up for them ;D ;D ;D
All you do and all you see is all your life will ever be

The unused plot opposite me has a few lovely looking leeks growing in amongst the weeds  ??? and old Sid on the next plot leaves his weeds to grow among his onions and they are every bit as good as mine ( that are weeded ) at the end of the season, also he's leaving the weeds under he's netting of cabbages he says it keeps them moist, me and the site sec stood there scratching our heads.  ??? ??? ???    :-\ :-\ :-\    ;D ;D ;D
MAY THE CORN BE WITH YOU.
