Brussel Sprouts seedlings

Mine failed miserable, but I founds some plugs at a fete. Yay!

They are about 5 inches tall in a tray. What should I so with them now? They are in a tray and seem to be ok outside. Is it just a case of planting them in the ground?

Yes, though you may need to net them, depending on your local pigeons. Mine only attack in winter, other peoples' seem to do it all year round.

I'd plant them out in their final postiions, and keep them well netted.

I'm just about to plant out my winter brassicas, and will be building a cane and net frame to cover them all. It needs to be 3 to 4 foot high and well supported to keep the top net up.

Otherwise the pigeons just land on the net and use their weight to push it down till they can peck through it to get to the plants... little b'stards.

Righty-ho! Since we have a  couple of pigeons in the trees next to the garden, who seem to be at it all the time, netting is a definite. Cheers!
