did anyone see this last night, i couldn't use the PC so was stuck watching with the family.

did you all see the man who built himself a castle and kept it hidden from the planners for 4 years using bales of hay, trucks and silos :o.

it was too funny for words :D.

I'm looking on you tube to see if there is clip of it but no such luck, maybe someone else can find it and post in this thread.

i just typed in the right word it seems a result, i found a newspaper article on the matter, was impressed with the readers comments as I'm sure there would be others saying he should be made to knock the house down and obey they law and i could understand this reasoning but i think the law needs to be a little bit more flexible, they can't really expect a country of this size to keep it population couped up in small residential/ city zones. if the law was a little bit more user friendly it will probably help stop the drove of young people leaving the country side because they cannot afford to purchase a home in the village, etc they grew up in. and yep i know this is not the only reason why they leave. i think its sad that you can own land and not build your home on it. if the land is a greenbelt area or any other conservation type area would it not be viable to make the law in a way that will allow people to build a dwelling on their land but with certain restrictions in relation to property size etc, this is just a my thought out loud.
