Can you save frost damaged potatoes?

Ran out of room in the green house so had to move the potato plants outside.

Bit early and two of them show signs of frost damage.....can they be saved?

i presume your growing in bags hence the question ran out of room in the greenhouse ,if this is the case have you earthed them up yet if not cover them with soil but allowing just Little to be poking through should be fine as long as its not the whole plant

Frost at this time of year cuts potato foliage back but does no harm to the roots. They grow back pretty fast so don't worry.

As said they will grow on making new leaf..But if you know there has been a nights frost and you can get to the  lotty first thing on a morning before the day warms up. Dousing them with cold water  may save  them being damaged by the frost on them.

Cut off the black bits Chris and cover the pots with fleece, it will just put the plant back a bit.  ;D ;D ;D
