Last year I used seed compost for starting off my plants in my plastic greenhouse, are the any benifits  to carry on using this, or can I start them off in ordinary compost  ???

I always use a general potting compost,

the one i would recomend is Humax,

a good allrounder

most seed composts are sterilized to prevent damping off which can be real problem with certain seeds.
