RHS to talk to plants

According to today's Times, the 31st March, not the 1st April, the RHS is going to carry out a trial to see the effects, if any, of talking to tomato plants. Maybe if I shout at my tomato plants, they will hurry up and grow!!

I have to confess, I *do* talk to my plants, specially the seedlings. :D  (Maybe not close enough and long enough for them to benefit from much extra CO2)...
