Water Timer

Hi
Am trying to rig up a soaker hose to water my greenhouse whilst on holiday.  Has anyone attached a battery operated water time to a water butt?

Any thoughts, much appreciated.

I reckon it will be hard to set a time as when the water level drops there will be less pressure and less water delivered. You would be better using a soil moisture sensor. This should keep the water running until the soil moisture is at the level you have set.
