Have been wanting /needing/ yearning for a green house for ages, decided

that this year we would make a hole in the savings [ not a lot ] and get it sorted !

The back faces south and we have bungalow with a partial overhang under the roof.

This would make an extension of approx  13ft X 9ft,    with a door each end  -  the actual

' purchase ' size of the extension would be 13ft  X 3  &1/2 ft, sorry you metric peeps,

now , how does that compare with having a 8X6 [ minimum ] green house please ?

I would use the ext. for raising seeds, growing peppers etc and of course, would be a sunny

haven in winter sun months,   another room,  etc,

Would appreciate any advice you can give,

OH won't let me have an extension/conservatory on the south facing back of the house... she says It would be a jungle... and cut off light from the "then" middle room...  :-\

When you say Extension, is the kind that might need planning permission ?
