I grew some satsuma plants from seed last year, they have been outside in my unheated greenhouse over the winter and are still alive!

Presumably they evergreen, as the leaves haven't fallen off.

How long do they take to fruit, grown from seed?

They are between 6 and 8 inches tall (five plants).

If they are like all citrus plants the leaves do stay green, but my lemon was about 6 years old before it fruited, I later learned that starving and neglecting  the tree, brings citrus fruiting early, something to do with the last flush on a dying tree. Just make sure you feed it up again once it has set fruit.

Between 4-7 years from seed or 3-4 years for grafted trees.
If you got the seed out of a fruit it is not a satsuma as they are seedless it will be a mandarin (Citrus Reticulata).
