A huge thank you to everyone who replied to my "plot size" post -  I can't believe how active this forum is!

I've just found out that our allotment project is still waiting to go through planning, so I doubt it'll see much progress this season. Taking that into account, plus all your comments (and the fact that the organiser has been adamant I should take a full plot, not just half!) I'm going to stick with my reserved full-plot and see how I get on. This time next year, my daughter will be 4 and new baby will be 8 months, so I'll (hopefully...) be able to spend more time there.
