Any members in the USA or Canada?

I wondered if any A4A members are based in the USA or Canada and might consider doing a very big favour for me please?

My son picked a present via the web which he wanted for his birthday back in January but the company is based in the USA and they will only ship within the USA or Canada.  I can either transfer the money via paypal into someone's account so it can be bought for me and posted back to the UK or I can email their customer service and ask if I can pay with a credit card registered in the UK but shipped to an address in the USA/Canada. 

No other company sells this item, it is their own, so I can't get it anywhere else.  Someone else was going to help but not much progress is being made so I'd really appreciate a PM if any help can be given.
