Our cental hearting pipes that run under our bathroom floor seem to do the job on their own! We have cork backed laminate tiles on the floor, which are instantly warm to walk on in bare feet, and really toasty when the heating is on. You can tell where the warmest floor is by where the cats choose to sleep...on our bathroom floor!
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴

What type of floor are you putting this on cement or wood?

We have had ceramic tiles in the kitchen for the last 10 years and its not that cold, were planning to have the new kitchen tiled as well :)

We have a tiled floor in the bathroom and my husband moans about his feet being cold and I tell him to wear slippers ::) ::) ;D

This is the 3rd year the tiles have been down - easy to clean and it still looks good.

Go on, buy some slippers and make OH happy with tiles, if she's like me she won't be happy until she gets what she first thought of...........
