Well germination was shocking and out of the 6 that did grow, something ate 3 and this was what I ended up with eventually - I'm just grateful I actually got some lol  My mother reckons they should be on Dr. Who!  :o

Absolutely wonderful - Day of the Triffids - but yours are edible, most of us go through it too at some stage  ;D

If anyone see those in a supermarket they wouldn't buy them. It's all because the shape of them does definitely affect the taste.

The fact that they're that shape and that they're home grown makes them taste infinitely better than any straight supermarket variety. Besides, they're a root veg, you expect them to have roots :)
