Sadly I've picked and strung the chillis for drying now, but it was fun watching them develop and figuring out the types, if not the names of varieties.  One grew into big long green peppers which were no at all hot - very like ramero peppers but I couldn't get them to go red.

Then two were quite big ox horn types, started pale green and went red.  The last to develop were some medium sized, dimpled ones which half of them went red, and one last plant which was more of a birds eye chilli type.

Altogether about 30 chillis - some used straight away and some drying on strings.  I've worked out over the last few years thats enough for us and as many as I can find the time and space to grow!

I'll be using the same seeds next year as there were lots left in the packet - who knows what I''ll get then?   :D
