Hungry chickens?

If anyone has been thinking like me about when it gets dark early and how they're going to fed the chickens AND go to work... I've been trying mine out with a garden bird feeder which is a round plastic ball with 3 feeding holes for £4.99. You can see a picture on my blog site... I've had to enlarge the holes so the feathered fiends can get their heads in, but after a few days they've got the hang of it.

So when I go up in the dark from November onwards I won't need to disturb the girls from their beauty sleep.
