Steam Cleaning/ Mites

Would using something like an Earlex Steam Cleaner kill redmite ?

Is that a electrical power jobby or is it another source of power.  I am going to try to do mine on Saturday but all I have is a kettle (which I will have to heat at home) and a sprayer!  But I am sure that even though it isn't going to be quite boiling it won't do them any good! 

Let me know if there is anything else that would provide steam without leccy Please!

What a good idea !  worth a try at least.

As my hens are at the bottom of the garden i should be able to run an extension lead down, I will try at the weekend.
