Sorry, but I am probaly being very stupid but I am having a few problems posting pictures direct here.

For information I connect to the internet with BT Broadband, use IE and Windows 95. Therefore I do not have an ISP as such and Dan's helpful post at the start of the board does not shed much light.

I have created a folder on my desktop called "webpics" and in it created a notepad file called index.html. In this file I have typed:

<html>

<head>
<title>My web pictures</title>
</head>

<body>

<img src="picturename.jpg" border="0">


</body>
</html>

I have also created copies of the picture files in the folder and named them with a .jpg extension.

As I understand it, correct me if I am wrong, I now need my ip address so I can save my pictures to my free webspace. I believe it is something like:

ftp://uploads.webspace.ispname.net

Trouble is I have no idea what it is or how to find it! Remember I am on broadband with BT. What do I need to do in this case to post direct to this board.

I have the same problem although I did manage to get a picture on my home page but not direct on here, perhaps we are both a bit fik and having a blonde moment...
