No one recognises me now?

I cleaned up my computer a month back and now I am not recognised on the sites I use regularly. What should I do to put this right? I have checked the cookies and list of sites. It is such a nuisance having to login every time.

When you sign in to a site,  there will be a box somewhere on the page which you need to tick for the site to keep you signed in on same PC.
