Butter Beans

Although my OH and all the kids hate them, I would really like to have a go at growing these next year - after all, why shouldn't I grow exactly what I want for a change?

I've seen the variety that seeds of Italy sell - but can anyone recommend others?

I'm growing the SOI butterbeans. Pods are just forming. Lots of flowers. Not as rampant as I expected (the weather). The beans are not like our normal butterbeans -  they're speckled. One of the other plots here is growing "proper" BBs. Not as advanced as mine when I last looked
