hi all,

I have 2 pumpkin plants that are taking over their allocated space and are starting to climb over my cabbage.

They have small pumpkins growing and i need to stop them trailing any further.

Do i just cut the end off or is there a special technique? also, how far back to i cut it or is it just the tip?

thanks
Liam
Keep getting worried that the stuff I grow will taste nasty - or turn out poisonous!

I just wind mine around into a circle around the main stem, that keeps them much more compact. Any shoot off I train likewise; you can 'stop' them by nipping out the growing point, but in my experience that just makes them throw out more sideshoots! ;D
If it's not pouring with rain, I'm either in the garden or at the lottie! Probably still there in the rain as well TBH....🥴
