Can anyone tell me if its too late to sow cabbages cauliflowers ans broccoli's in august

I've been looking in the Moles catalogue.

Calabrese can be sown from March-July, so you would only be a bit late for that.

They have a cabbage variety Spring Hero, which can be sown from mid August to mid September.

The 1s i have are cauliflower All the year round, broccoli is Autumn spear,and cabbage is Golden acre-Primo(II)

I am sowing Cauliflower Deakin F1.  Can be sown until August - crops December / Jan.

This cabbage can be sown until September

gardencarer, there are varieties that can be sown pretty well all the year round (as shown by ktlawson's post), but the cauliflower and cabbage seeds you have should be sown in March.  Having said that, there's nothing to stop you from sowing a few seeds out of each packet as an experiment.

If you check out the major gargening catalogues (Marshalls, The Organic Gardening Catelogue, Mr Fothergills etc) you will find cabbages and caulifowers that can be sown all year round, giving you a pretty constant supply.
