Hi all, I know this may make me seem a bit dim but what is Comfry, and what can you do with it, I think you can use it as a mulsh or fertiliser

it can also be invasive i have mine planted in a large old metal dustbin, which i mulch in the autumn after the leaves die down. you can also get a variety i think its called Bocking14 which doesnot selfseed.

that is great, thank you, I already use nettles as a liquid manour can it be used together or should I only use one, but thanks you for your reply. ;D

the nettle is high in nitrogen and the comfry is high in potash, so they could be used singularly for specific plants needing specific nutrients or you could stew them together and use them as one liquid feed, that what i do less hassel.
