HI Guys,

Our house has gone on the market today and subject to everything going according to plan this a image of the plot were buying. This will also mean giving up my allotment. We have tried to find a house that i can grow veg in as well.

Now the reason i am posting this is that i need a little help with the design of the garden. Its 51ft long and 30ft wide. I want to have

A pond
A greenhouse (leaning against the back of the garage)
Space for growing fruit and veg as well as shrubs and whats seen as being a normal garden :)
I have a plum, pear and 4 apple trees which need room.
Would also love a clay oven (yes like the one jamie has) but cant afford it for a while but needs space i guess in the plan.

I have put aside £1,000 for the garden which includes the price of a greenhouse, brick for the raised beds etc. Dont have masses more money i can throw at this. Was kindly given a plastic greenhouse so i have this setup to start moving plants into before we move.

For anyone willing to offer me some assistance there is no outside water, there is a wooden fence around the garden but no gate access down the side of the building.

The bit of the building that sticks out a lot is the kitchen and the patio doors come out in the other bit that only sticks out a little bit :)

What's the orientation cam?

not sure but the couple of times we have been there the garden has full sun on it.

My only suggestion based on our experience with ponds, place it where you can see it easily from the house because you'll enjoy it all year long. If you can shade it from afternoon sun by placement of your trees you'll have less problem with algae.

Congratulations on your project and home and greenhouse!
The handle on your recliner does not qualify as an exercise machine.

Won't that be a bit messy?  ;)

Sounds great Cam.

You should be able to get it just as you want it, as it's a blank canvas for you to do as you will.

It will also be handy to be able to have your plot in your garden instead of travelling to a lottie.

As for outside water, you should be able to get an outside tap fitted to the house. It isn't a huge expense, but worth what it costs in terms of not having to go in and out of the house to fetch water.

Hope it all goes to plan for you.

Jo.
