Here is the description (will get a photo at the plot today). Low lying perennial with silver/grey leaves. The leaves are long and thin. Has lots of small bright pink flowers (about 1cm in diameter).

Wow! Just had a google. You are correct!! Thank you very much. How would I go about propagating this plant?

It self-seeds freely but if you want to control where it goes, just collect the seed heads.  I have lots of it - I love the colour combination.

Yes it seeds very easily - I think the plants last two or three years as well, so there are always new ones coming along as the old ones get past it.

I like it a lot - it's sort of ugly beautiful, because it's a bit straggly and furry, but with luscious magenta flowers (well my one is magenta) Better than just beautiful-beautiful in my opinion.

I've seen white and pale pink ones as well.
