Gooseberry advice

In my front garden I have the following varieties :-
hinnomaki yellow, leveller and langley gage.  Should they all be ready at the same time ?
The levellers are almost all ready - they are sweet off the bush.
However langley gage is a) lot smaller b) edible but not that nice (Bob flowerdew says they are the nicest !!!).

Leveller produces quite large berries, Langley Gage usually ripens in late July, Hinnomaki Yellow usually ripens in mid-July.

So if Leveller is ready then the Hinnomaki Yellow should be as well ?

readiness is never written in tablets of stone, they are ready when they are ready and can be outside the guidelines - leaving the langley a bit longer might improve the flavour but that is a very subjective topic as to what is the best

Good point the leveller were wonderful.  I  now know they are probably the same ones I used to eat as child.  To everyone I would say plant leveller gooseberries and spray them every 2 weeks with washing soda to kill the mildew.
