Our 2008 Allotment Show

Ant and I gained 7 prizes at the show today including a first prize for our dahlias and a first prize for our fruit cake in the home produce section. Very pleased! Did not expect to do well in the dahlia section as I have never grown them before so wasn't sure what they were looking for. I think the association will have raised a reasonable amount on the various stalls as there was a good turnout despite the weather so a good day all round.
