Onion Hoes

Should they have a sharp edge as some full sized hoes do or are they just intended to drag weeds out?

My old one - which I think I have now lost as haven't needed it so far this year - and can't remember where I left it!!

Yes they do have a sharp ish edge - pretty similar to normal hoes but just slightly different shape and obviously shorter!

Thanks. the things that I was looking at at the garden centre clearly aren't proper ons then.no doubt why they were so much cheaper than the ones I've seen listed on line.
