I have a weeping willow tree in a spot where it can grow to it's full potential. It's about 20 ft tall now and the branches are starting to 'weep' downwards. However, all of the growth is to one side. I am concerned that the tree will not only be mishapen but will be in danger of toppling over due to the unbalanced weight. Can anybody offer me anyadvice on this? Should I 'pull' some branches and weigh them down to encourage more even growth?

Weeping willows often grow on only one side, e.g., when planted next to water. They won't topple.
